Hertz is implementing the first wireless charging system for electric vehicles in the car rental industry with a Plugless Power program. The trial effort will provide feedback on daily usage routines, user interfaces, and additional functionality needed. The Plugless Power system is being supplied to Hertz by Evatran. Hertz now has the most diverse fleet of EVs for both rental and carshare. Greenville Technical College has been recognized as an innovator in sustainability education by the American Association of Community Colleges. The South Carolina school joins 21 colleges across the country as leaders in green programming. Green building science has been incorporated into the curriculum, and many short-term courses are offered in the "green jobs" category.
